When crime and corruption fill the streets of Washington Heights in the year 1990, it is up to you get to the root of it to prevent further tragedies. Take on the role of private investigator Alvaro Francisco, as you solve the murder of Veronica Inez, community role model. The goal of the game is to uncover the lives of the innocent and the corrupt, and how their tragedies intertwine in the daily lives of everyday people. Grave Innocence is a visual novel and classic adventure game that harkens to the early days of adventure games in both gameplay and time period.

     In Grave Innocence, core mechanics and actions take the player through dialogue options and investigating crime scenes. The player at certain points in the story has optional dialogue choices, which inform them of the world and their many characters, adding a layer of depth to Grave Innocence. Investigating crime scenes are easy to follow point-and-click interactions with objects and backgrounds. The game designers’ hope is that players can immerse themselves in the world of Washington Heights.

Controls: Mouse for movement and clicking objects. Space bar or left mouse click for continuing dialogue. Space bar for dialogue highly suggested for better gameplay experience.
